50 anni fa, i Rolling Stones ci hanno invitato a uno spettacolo circense, un'impresa ineguagliata fino ai giorni nostri: "The Rolling Stone Rock and Roll Circus". Come ospiti e principale attrattiva, gli Stones hanno messo in scena il Rock and Roll Circus di fronte a un pubblico dal vivo a Londra. Oltre a Stones, The Who, Jethro Tull, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, Yoko Ono e The Dirty Mac, il supergruppo composto da Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell di The Jimi Hendrix Experience e John Lennon è apparso sul palco . La colonna sonora dei Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus è stata estesa fino a includere 28 brani, tra cui materiale del pianista concept deceduto Julius Katchen, tre brani mai ascoltati di Taj Mahal e registrazioni inedite di The Dirty Mac come classici dei Beatles come " Revolution 'e l'appropriato titolo di "Warmup Jam". Il tutto è stato anche remixato e rimasterizzato per creare un vero gioiello!
