With a total of over 10 million copies sold, 'Americana' is the band's most commercially successful Album after 'Smash'. In Germany, the Album reached number 5 on the charts and was certified gold. One of the reasons why 'Americana' is one of The Offspring's greatest successes is certainly because of the punk Rock classics like 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)', 'Why Don't You Get A Job?', and 'The Kids Aren't Alright', which are featured on the Album.
